Looking Back at The Beauty Artist’s Favourite Bridal Looks

Sarah Wedding 17

Here at The Beauty Artist, we have spent the last year pampering and preening more blushing brides and their dutiful and beautiful hens. We’ve coifed more curls than we care to count, slicked on more scarlet lippy than Ms Monroe herself and lined a whole lotta lashes.

Now, as another year comes to a close and we begin the countdown to 2016, we decided to take a look back at some of our favourite bridal beauty looks created by The Beauty Artist over the years. So, here they are – some retro, others boho and some classically elegant – but all undeniably gorgeous.

Cassie’s look had a hint of the 1940’s going on, thanks to a head full of incredible ringlet curls and a pillbox fascinator. Those amazing chocolate brown eyes were the centre of attention, thanks to winged liner, a slick of mascara and strong brows. A raspberry lip completed her pretty look, along with a rosy flush to her cheeks.

When the bride wears a full-skirted tea dress and carries a bouquet of sunflowers and poppies, only a bold retro look will do. Scarlett lips and winged liner were a match made in heaven for 1950’s inspired bride Charlotte, whilst a victory roll and side do shows off that scoop neckline perfectly.

Sometimes the simplest of bridal looks can be the most beautiful. This bride’s stunning olive skin looked incredible against simple lined eyes and strawberry lips. The silk petals of a blossoming ivory rose stood out against this bride’s jet black hair, adding something of a Mediterranean edge to a classic vintage look.

From the long sleeved, ruffle shoulder dress, to a crown crafted from wild flowers and the loose plaits falling around her face – this boho bride has the woodland wedding look tied up. Simple eyes and a deep autumnal lip add a little drama to one of our favourite bridal looks of the year.

This more traditional take on the boho look saw natural make-up accent those incredible bambi eyes and let this bride’s gorgeous freckles shine through, whilst a pretty peach, pink and cream floral garland perfectly complemented those beautiful auburn locks. Loose curls are a boho bride’s must-have, softening the entire look without appearing too ‘done’.

We can’t wait for another year spent beautifying the nation’s blushing brides. Which bridal beauty look are you swaying towards for your own big day?
